Lively and shiny

Seventies inspiration

Bold tones, geometric patterns, special and ultra-colored materials: the 2018 collection looks at the 70s to enrich the style of the furnishings with a lively note.

Among the colors, citron green is the protagonist: a pop and shiny hue which allows you to experiment original combinations with more sober or neutral colors, such as the different shades of gray, black and beige.

Used as a dominant color in the zebra print of the new Papeete chaise-longue, or as a detail in the new palm print that upholsters the Key-west armchair, citron green can be found inside the Maui bar cabinet for a guaranteed “wow effect”.

The 70s style is also characterized by the choice of glossy and colored materials. The creative experimentation leads to the creation of cushions covered in patent leather, for a shiny effect in perfect vintage style, or even to the rediscovery of the fringes, also inspired by the '70s.

An original manufacturing process

At the center of the '70s trend in the 2018 collection, however, is the use of methacrylate for the creation of the furniture of the GRENADA line: tables and consoles in transparent material in which the different shades of color are achieved through a special coloring process. Available in different shades that combine transparency with citron or fumé nuances, as well as a special artistic version that uses cast material to create abstract designs.

The strong component of craftsmanship that distinguishes the manufacturing process is the characteristic feature of these furnishing elements: the result are tables and consoles with modern lines, in which the originality of the material used is combined with the attractive design to create small but powerful masterpieces in perfect Roberto Cavalli Home Interiors style.
